Lamont (Monty) Bossard is an attorney with over 40 years of legal experience in real estate, bankruptcy, estate planning, and litigation. Originally from Southern California, he has lived in Seattle since 1982. Prior to moving here he practiced for several years in Washington DC. He has worked in private practice as well as in various in-house legal positions, working in real estate development and management, mortgage lending, title and escrow. He enjoys working through complex real estate issues and negotiating transactions. Monty has taught state-certified continuing education classes to real estate brokers for over 30 years, including numerous classes at North Seattle College. He currently teaches classes on leasing, purchase and sale transactions, and secured lending for the Commercial Brokers Association.

Monty has been playing trombone and euphonium in various musical organizations for nearly 40 years throughout the Puget Sound area. He has lived in Seattle’s Green Lake neighborhood with his wife for over 35 years where they raised two daughters and have had a wide variety of pets.
